Maybe you have watched us in Discovery Channel's "Dirty Jobs"  with Peter Schmeichel. In the episode Holland of Dirty Jobs with Peter Schmeichel you will see Peter Schmeichel and Alex Koelewijn and some huge eels. No-one really understands the mysteries of eels, but everyone knows they are one of the slimiest creatures ever! Peter Schmeichel goes fishing in the inland waters of Holland catching what, especially to Nothern European tastes, is one the greatest and most delicious of all seafood delicacies.  Peter struggles to get a hold on the eels as he hauls them aboard, and he has to go through the whole process of killing the eels, cleaning them, smoking them and packing them, ready for some of the most exclusive shops in Europe. And, of course, he ends the day by eating eels in the traditional Dutch way: hot smoked.
